Derrick Sound is a duo of DJs/producers/MCs. Actors of the alternative scene Artamis in Geneva, Mr. Nico and Inspecta Derrick made their debut at the mythical K-Bar and Piment Rouge in the early 2000s. Inspired by sound system figures such as David Rodigan, Fire Links or Tony Matterhorn, Derrick Sound forges a unique style whose trademark is originality and energy. The remixes, dubplates and ambitious productions of Derrick Sound often shocked the reggae purists but made them popular. After having experienced the European Clash scene and winning the Geneva Clash twice, Derrick Sound is moving towards production and founded the Evidence Music Label in 2013, in collaboration with Little Lion Sound. With many productions to his credit, including "BUN DEM DOWN" feat. Capleton, "LIFE GOOD" feat. Anthony B, "SUNRISE" feat. Sizzla or "DREADLOCKS THING" feat. Brother Culture, Derrick Sound is on the rise.
