Cocoa Michelle Desvignes Bell, professionally known as Cocanina, is a singer, rapper, and songwriter. Toronto-born on August 20th, 1999, of English and Tobagonian decent, Cocanina was raised in the Jane and Finch area by a single mother. Inspired by some of the greats, including Lauryn Hill, Ertha Kitt, and The Notorious B.I.G, Cocanina is ready to be the greatest of the millennial generation. Cocanina's unique style with versatility in multiple genres and languages, sets her apart from other singers/songwriters. This allows her to reach a wide range of listeners that connect and fall in love with her music. Through writing all her own material, she draws upon experiences from different parts of her life to share and connect with her supporters.
