Damian Navarro was born with a love for music. In Kindergarten he declared that he wanted to be a Rockstar when he grew up. At the age of 8 he tried to write his first song. He taught himself how to play the drums using cardboard boxes and pencils as sticks, and by the age of 12 he had saved up enough money to buy his first real drum kit. Everything took off after that. He taught himself how to play guitar, bass and piano. But, it wasn’t until he joined NOMU that he discovered he could sing, and with the help of Brady Kerr, he has discovered a new avenue for his musical career in singing and songwriting. He wrote and sang his very first solo song in his first semester of the program, and went on to have 3 songs on that years album. All 3 of which were nominated for song of the year.
