Commonly known for the hit single Gugu (feat. Swartspeare) on which he's featured by The Lowkeys 012 & Shizo. He recently released a project featuring the likes of Abidoza and Kota Embassy, and featured on projects by Caltonic SA, Major League Djz & Abidoza's Pianochella! to mention a few. Singer, songwriter and guitarist, Swartspeare (The black Shakespeare) has worked his way from the ranks of Ga-Rankuwa, Mabopane, Mamelodi as a street- artist to receiving Gold as a Non-Classical vocalist at the UNISA Music festival in 2019, and came 2nd place at the 012 Awards in 2020 for 'Best Amapiano Artist'. Defining his craft as "painting the world with word and sound", his music is for the youthful with soul.
