Recording under the name X=X, I am an electronic musician and producer, sound engineer, sound artist and guitarist primarily writing and producing electronic music. As a sound artist my interest is in exploring sound, its textures, localities and its applications. I have worked with many artists in the underground dance scene and have had releases on B Unique, Tempa, Nomine Sound, INVTR Records, Beauty & Disgust Records and Nurve Music under various names and guises. I have played live extensively across the UK and into Europe with personal highlights including headlining performances at the Glastonbury Festival in 2002 and 2003. I co-own INVTR Records, a small independent record label, and Expansion Audio, a music sample production company, with musical partner, Kevin Ford, who I also record with under the name Lines.
