That Travis is a singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Hong Kong, their work is a collage of their indigenous heritage and Western education. Through their music-making, they often investigate themes such as intimacy, history and time. In early 2022 they made their first experimental opera Elephant Song, an octaphonic sound installation shown in Gallery 46 and later released a stereo version online. In 2023 they expanded this concept and created a radio piece named Swan Song Pt.1, a performance that one can't see but only hear. In 2024 they came back as a singer-songwriter, their first pop album 'In the Vastness of Landscape' (May 2024) is an amalgamation of genre and style, from folk to electronica and avant-pop, their singer-songwriter materials exhibit an ethereal atmosphere that signifies personal growth and through music-making inspire a spiritual resolution.
