FFO: Within The Ruins, Born of Osiris, Berried Alive, Enter Shikari, After The Burial. The Anima Effect is an independent Theatrical Music Group that combines beautiful melodic progressions with crushing rhythmic structures. The group reaches across many different genres and styles to combine something entirely unique and authentic. Their debut album 'Upheaval' was released on November 16th 2017 , following the album drop the band received several positive reviews, including being featured as Artist of The Week on The Circle Pit. After the release of Upheaval the band released a 6 track dystopian sci fi concept EP titled ' Terminal Encryption' on February 22nd 2019. On November 3rd 2020 the band released their next full length album ‘Manifesto’ which is a concept album based on the universe in George Orwell’s 1984, and adapted to represent the current political struggle taking place in America today. Then after 2 years of isolation in quarantine and some key band member changes the group would eventually make a huge shift in their sound with the release of their 3rd Full Length album 'Secrets of Airstrip One' on December 23rd 2022
