JOYFIRE, aka Paul Armento, grew up in the vicinity of New York City and got his first exposure to Dance Music raving at Webster Hall, NYC. With a background in classical and jazz piano, music theory, and a degree in Electrical Engineering… a future in EDM was inevitable. While developing his skills in music production, he earned a living playing keys, bass and singing in some highly successful tribute bands, and got exposure to performing in front of crowds as large as 10,000 people. He learned songwriting in the BMI Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop with some of the top writers in the world. During COVID, he branded as JOYFIRE and began releasing EDM tracks. In the last few years, JOYFIRE has dropped 30+ original tracks on streaming platforms and dozens of remixes and bootlegs on Soundcloud. His style is “Mainstage” - including Electro House, Big Room, Future Rave and even some Hardstyle. A key element of JOYFIRE’s live show is his use of a “keytar” for surprisingly intense solos, which he tastefully blends into his sets. JOYFIRE’s recent release, THE IMPOSSIBLE reached #1 on the Beatport Mainstage chart. Numerous other tracks have charted on in the top 10 on Beatport, Apple and iTunes in over 20 countries. He has been supported by Insomniac Radio, Revealed’s Brand New EDM Playlist, KSHMR’s Journey’s Playlist, Niiko x Swae, TelyKast, and many more. He has 5 Million Spotify playlist listeners and 40 Million+ steams on TikTok.
