Miles Gaines is an American rapper from Los Angeles, CA, raised in Gardena. He showed a knack for music from an early age, creating tunes on GarageBand and gaining notoriety on MySpace by the third grade. By fifth grade, Miles was opening for artists like Raekwon, Demrick, and B-Real. He was discovered at 12 by music executive Damion Young while performing at an event hosted by at his father’s streetwear clothing store. Miles signed with UMG under Damion Young’s imprint in 2014. After both Young and Gaines parted ways from the company, he independently released his debut album "You're Not Alone" in May 2019. His music combines a new school feel with classic soulful hip-hop, resonating with hip-hop enthusiasts globally. Recently, he collaborated with Compton star The Game on the track "Waiting" from his album "Heavy Is The Crown." Following the release of "Heavy Is The Crown," Miles signed a deal with 10k Projects through Warner Music.
