Grains formed in 2019 as the project of synth kids Calum Turner and Perry Hyde. In 2020, the pair teamed up with drummer Jared Reynolds, guitarist Jed Prickett and vocalist Fredd Marshall. Known for their unique synth-driven grooves, chaotic builds and massive soundscapes, Grains have emerged as one of Pōneke's most impactful and elusive alt-electronica acts. Their debut self-titled album releases April 2024.
