✴RomainFrequency is a French recording artist and music producer specialized in dark ambient and cosmic cinematographic ritualistic electronicmusic. Based in Berlin, they combine introspective sounds with fragmented ambient synths in order to explore undercurrents. The debut album released in 2020 “ Research on a Nameless Colour is inspired by Derek Jarman’s final collection of Essays entitled “Chroma” released in 1994, the year he passed away and written while struggling with illness (facing theirony of an artist going blind). With each hue he approaches the universal unknown color. The second album released in 2023 “ Soundtrack of Time negotiates the perception of time as an attempt to extend, stretch, pause or simply dissolve time, focusing on the energy created while deeplistening to the music. To appreciate the works, you must consume the tracks in their entirety, demanding your full attention, allowing yourself to lose track of time, like a collage of sounds and fragments of Time.
