Born and raised in the suburbs of the Bay Area, California, Andrew Wong aka PLANET.DRVV always had a strong sense of musicality and artistry. His parents were both singers and somewhat creatives during a time when Asian American immigrants didn't believe much in the arts as being a successful career path. This mindset trickled down to Andrew at a young age, however as he grew older he started to deny that belief. Andrew dropped out of college to pursue the arts in hopes of living his dream of being an artist and traveling the world. After debuting his first album Drift, he started doing more performances and gained some traction within the Bay Area community. He created an event called Worlds Collide which bridged the gap between artists of different mediums, that every art form was a type of expression and everyone could relate in some way, no matter what medium.
