Renowned Spanish pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist Alexis Alonso has made his way onto the international jazz scene both from his solo piano work and leading his band, Alexis Alonso Quartet In 2014 he published “El Paisaje”, a solo piano album that received applause from the public and critics and which led the Canarian pianist to triumph in the great cities of Spain (Madrid , Barcelona, ​​Valencia ...). In 2016, “The Birth of Time” continued the trail of successes even increasing its repercussion, triumphing in such competitive scenes as London and establishing itself as one of the main exponents of solo piano jazz in Spain and with a increasing outward projection. In 2018 founded Alexis Alonso Quartet and achieved an overwhelming success that goes from “IN” (2018), “Live in Barcelona - Jamboree Live 19” (2019) until “Out” (2020) where it also has the collaboration of great stars of world jazz such as Seamus Blake, Ralph Alessi or Pedrito Martínez. In his quartet he is accompanied by cellist Ciro Hernández, drummer Roberto Amor and double bass player Moisés García. Together they have received numerous recognitions and aawards nominations. Alexis Alonso will continue to publish new piano works just because, in his own words, "it is a different and very special language in my career as well as complementary to the band".
