Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dreco Street Started writing rhymes as early as 8 years old. He cites some of his early influences as Rick Ross, Jeezy, and local favorites Boosie and Webbie. Music he says he heard his father play. Dreco’s story was like many other youths coming up in Baton Rouge. Gravitating towards the streets at an early age lead to a lifestyle of crime. A lifestyle that would eventually land Dreco in Juvenile corrections. At the age of 14 he found himself with a lengthy 5-year sentence. While incarcerated he continued to write and develop his style. A style with infectious hooks and diverse flows providing Dreco with a rhythmic cadence. He also has ability to give his listeners a glimpse into his world and the streets he came from. Music and rap was not something that Dreco took serious until fellow inmates convinced him other-wise. Upon his release he hit the ground running, releasing several songs as well as videos. Notable songs include Play, Lie To Me, and Get It Right Back ft.Zoerealla. With a full-length project in the work he continues to cultivate and craft his style. Dreco knows and believes that he only can get better. Gaining momentum with the release of every song, video and freestyle.
