Naeim Jebelli is an Actor, Director and Vocalist, graduated from The Azad Art and Architecture University in Tehran. He has worked as a Professional Actor, Director, Stage Manager, Assistant Director and Project Manager in several theatrical projects, short films as well as TV series. Naeim lives and works in Tio’tia:ke (Montreal) where he founded Hashtpa Productions in 2011 and has expanded his professional activities ever since. Following his production of several plays in Montreal and Toronto, a short film and the French Language adaptation of the Body of a Woman as a Battlefield (In the Bosnian War), Naeim has been involved in the pre-production stage of his docu-fiction feature film The Tale of Tiger. The story revolves around an older generation Iranian Theatre expat based in Paris and the ties that connect his life journey to theatre and that of Jebelli’s. Regardless of medium, Jebelli seeks inspiration from various cultures and communities and seeks to eliminate borders and forego the limits of language in all his artistic projects and productions.
