Biography

No stranger to pain, adversity, struggle, triumph and victory. Captivating listener’s attention with stories involving and evoking emotion, BlackFace has a God given gift of painting beautiful pictures with words and sounds that transports listeners from their home or their car to the streets and into the life of one of the most creative and dedicated rappers in the game.
BlackFace first fell in love with music as a young boy. His father, who raised him, was a musician and introduced him to the sounds of musical legends Al Greene, Ray Charles and Peabo Bryson among others. At home, there was no such thing as hip hop or rap. These influences helped mold BlackFace into the versatile artist he is today, having the uncanny ability to mix gritty rhymes and stories about survival and life with such a soulfulness typically found in those much older than his 28 years of age.
