J-Will, also known as Buhawi ng Malate, is one of the founding members of the Rap Group 187 Mobstaz. He grew up in Malate, Manila, and started rapping around 2003. In 2003, he was discovered along with his group F.L.y.T by Enzayne One of Street Souljaz who later became the leader of 187 Mobstaz. J-Will was mentored by Enzayne One when he was just starting. J-Will was inspired by the thriving hip-hop scene in Tondo and Marikina, and he decided to strengthen the hip-hop culture in his area. In 2007, he formed an independent record label called Bosingkit Recordz to promote hip-hop in Malate. The label produced several famous rap artists, including OG Kaybee, Arpee Turla, ArvyT, and some well-known hip-hop music directors. At the height of his record label's success from 2007 to 2012, J-Will left Malate and his music career behind, which surprised many people. Since then, he has rarely been seen or heard in the local hip-hop scene.
