Elisete - Israeli-Brazilian singer-songwriter - came to Israel in 1991. Her music mixes her Brazilian roots and her Israeli present. Elisete is an independent artist believing talent, optimism and a lot of hard work will get you anywhere. She speaks 7 languages: Portuguese, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, English, French and Russian. She sings in many of the languages she speaks bringing her closer to her audience. Elisete believes in peace and coexistence and thinks that the mixture between her Brazilian soul and her life in her second homeland Israel gives her the perspective to create a mixture possible only here in our Middle east. Her music is her original bridge between the multicultural vibrant Brazil - that brought the classic, cool Bossa-Nova of Rio and also the energetic rhythms of Bahia, Brazil that mixes sorrow with joy with the multifaceted Israel - multicultural, tolerant but also loud, dense and sometimes violent. Elisete feels a double ambassador - both of Israeli culture and Brazilian culture. She is musically involved in many projects in Israel and in the world promoting peace and showing the positive side of Israel and Brazil.
