On his latest release MYK GVNS teamed up with producer extraordinaire Phakza to bring version 4 of the MGDZN remix series to life. A fusion of dance musical styles, several South African languages driven by a log drum arrangement that will inspire dance moves that can only be seen on Tik Tok. Muzikayise Mashele Mbungela's stage name MYK GVNS (Pronounced "Mike Givens") has always been inspired by Jazz, R&B, Kwaito, and Hip-Hop. He is known for fusing other musical styles like Dance, Acappella, Gospel, Electronic, and Jazz. Muzi’s story dates back to 2006 with "Nelspruit Produce VCD 1.0," a humble beginning that laid the foundation for his artistic exploration. 2021 saw him releasing his debut full-length album "Journey To The Moon” independently with collaborations with Angel Malope, Nomcebo Zimbili, and BLVCK MOXEX. "Made In MGDZN," is his upcoming attempt at mashing up classic boom bap hip-hop, amapiano, dance and trap music.
