Singer/ Songwriter with a soulful melodic yet edgy and sexy R&B tempo, based out of Atlanta. She was very shy growing up but she knew she could hold a tune as a child. Born and raised in Dayton Ohio, where she comes from a musically inclined background of entertainers and her grandfather was the originally drummer of the R&B funk group of the 70s named "Ohio Players" . She then resided to Atlanta at the age of 12 with her mom where it all began.All through elementary, middle and high school she joined the choir and different activities pertaining to musical arts, and At the age of 16 she decided to take her career a bit more serious and began working with different local artists gaining recognition over the city of Atlanta. She was recognized as MarleyBMonroe then later changed it to RICIA which she has been affectionally known by since a adolescence. As the years went on she began to perfect her craft, staying up late nights in the studio, networking, and studying what goes on behind the music,as she eventually took on producing and engineering her own tunes and is now working on her own project and ready to show the world her many talents.
