Adventuring in far away galaxies for millions of years, Alien Jakes have been in search of a planet where they could create a musical mecca. A couple of years ago the other worldly duo crash landed in Frome, England, and immediately connected with the UK Hip Hop, Grime, Trap and UK beats scenes. XMAN (Lead Vocalist and MC) and Tao White (Producer and sound wave extraordinaire) are on a quest to create music so mesmeric in sound wave dialect, it will contact other peaceful alien life forms, and invite them to Earth for a festival that celebrates Universal life. The duos songs are about their experiences on earth, which range from celebrating all that is strange, diverse and beautiful in this world, to frustrations at the corrupt political systems and outdated discriminatory perspectives many humans still hold. The sound itself oscillates between darkness and light. many flavours exude moody experimental synths, with giant bass frequency's and snappy drums, while others are light playful melodies, with a dreamy low fi vibe. Join these wandering Aliens, and experience life through the lens of eight displaced extra-terrestrial eyes.
