He began piano studies at the Conservatory of Mallorca and in 1993 he completed the Advanced Piano Degree with the highest grades at the Conservatory of Valencia. Later, he graduated with Imre Rohmann for two years at Mozarteum in Salzburg. He has performed numerous concerts in the Balearic Islands, Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Peru and Mexico. He has dedicated a CD with first world recordings from Pere Tintorer's piano work, edited by UM in 2000 . In 2019 he has published a CD with Cas Músic with first world recordings of Baltasar Samper for piano and strings. He has been Professor of piano at the Professional Music Conservatory of Mallorca , chamber music and is currently a repertorist for singers at the same center. As a member of the piano duet Blanco-Cortés he performed with the Balearic Symphony Orchestra (three times as a solo duet under the direction of Werner Stiefel, Imre Rohmann and Salvador Brotons), Deutsch-Französische Kammerorquester, Kammerphillarmonie Baden-Württemberg and Basler Festival Orchestra performing works for two pianos and orchestra by Bach, Mozart, Saint-Saens, Poulenc and Bartok. The duet Blanco-Cortés has released two Compact-Discs, one for the ONA Digital stamp, with first world records of works by Tintorer, Samper, Mas Porcel and Guinovart, and the other with works for solo piano and the first edition world wide for piano piano at four hands of F.
