Daphya was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, but moved to Elizabeth, NJ early in her life and has claimed both while spending most of her time all around NYC. Her music ranges from deep and thought provoking lyricism to her signature comedic punchlines, influenced heavily by north eastern rap styles. More recently, her music has taken an emotional turn with the release of her debut album, PHASES.
