Sush Montana is A Rapper from Monticello, Arkansas. He began Rapping when he moved to Kansas City and expressed that he had to take care of himself which led to him getting into the streets. But he notes when his friend put him on the spot to Rap at lunch while at school. Sush knew his friend took it serious so he rapped in front of everyone, in turn he ended up getting a great response. Sush starting writing when he was 14 years old. He experienced a lot of adversity but still managed to stay focused and continued honing his craft. Sush’s top influences are artist such as Nelly, Lil Phat, Kevin Gates, and Rod Wave. Sush also has been pushing his creative boundaries by creating a sound he calls “Neo Trap Soul” where he combines melodic textures with his Southern Trap sound. Sush continues to expand on his Southern Rap style with piercing lyrics and a vibrantly energetic sound.
