Francesco Claudio Marai (born February 17, 1988), known by his stage name Hunterwolf, is an Italian composer, videomaker and artist from Parma. He started composing music at the age of 4, and is active as an electronic music producer since 2006. Hunterwolf is especially known for his contribute in the second half of the 2000s on laying the foundations for what will later be referred to as "Melodic Frenchcore" starting from his 2006 track Industrialization and for his viral 2012 parody Monti Style in collaboration with the Youtuber Alcedo Video. Despite he doesn't follow any specific music genre his sonic style combines experimental electronics with symphonic and epic elements, for which one of his major influences is Ennio Morricone with whom he collaborated during his 2014 tour. Hunterwolf has performed at some of Europe's leading electronic music festivals and venues, including Masters of Hardcore, Nocturnal Festival, Ultimo Impero, Shock! and E-mission. He is interested in research and technology, especially those related to sound, artificial intelligence and communication.
