Neo-soul rapper Heath SwerVain combines witty wordplay with Rap, Hip Hop and R’n’B influences. Debuting in the 2020 with his full length album ‘FOMO’ and marked his appearance in magazine Gaffa.dk by receiving 4 stars: ‘Solid tracks with catchy choruses, delicious R’n’B vibes and remarkable lyricism.’ Real name, Matthew Thabiso Alemi Thabane Muki, he was raised in a Northern Ugandan-Lesotho family, which in 1980’s emigrated to Denmark. Growing up in Denmark did not resonate with his roots, leaving Heath SwerVain to adapt to the Scandinavian environment and form his own version of integration. A songwriter since teenage years, his first appearance as a rapper was half of the rapper- producer duo 'Ela Migo’. In 2010 he released ‘Clap, Snap, Rock' EP under name Blacc El which was his first appearance as a solo artist. Blacc El has featured with bands like ‘Athletic Progression’, ‘Dafuniks’, ‘Temu’, ‘DJ Static’, ‘Kriswontwo’ and others. This project is active up to this date with the focus on crossing Jazz with Hip Hop. In 2018 Heath he made his first appearance and 2021 released his first official full album ‘FOMO’, which year later would get re-issued on his newly founded record label ‘IcyTheFuture Records’. The following year, 2022 he released an EP ‘NORDIC WAV.Z’, one of the tracks featuring Malik Pollux (USA) and a handful of producers from Denmark and Europe.
