Aeshim is an alias of producer Adam Scrimshire. Adam runs Wah Wah 45s with Dom Servini and is the founder of Albert's Favourites. He has been releasing music as Scrimshire for 14 years, collaborating with artists like Emma-Jean Thackray, Heidi Vogel (Cinematic Orchestra), Georgia Anne Muldrow, Red Rack'Em, Nite Jewel and many more. As a label owner he has worked on hundreds of releases including music from The Milk, Fela Kuti protege Dele Sosimi, Hector Plimmer and The Expansions. His mixing and mastering work includes projects for Daudi Matsiko, Emma-Jean Thackray, Stamp The Wax, Rōnin Arkestra, Bastien Keb and Huw Marc Bennett. His output also includes an extensive run of successful re-edits that have gained support from Gilles Peterson, Nightmares On Wax, The Reflex, Huey Morgan and Craig Charles and writes and produces with Albert's co-founder Dave Koor as Modified Man. Recent Scrimshire album Listeners was Album Of The Day on BBC Radio 6 Music and he was featured and interviewed by Jamie Cullum for BBC Radio 2. 15 years of DJing and live music in the UK and worldwide has put him on stages alongside Bonobo, Quantic, DJ Premier, Sudan Archives, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jazzanova, Alice Russell and Steve Cobby (Fila Brazilia).
