J. Halstead has always loved being creative. Even at an early age, he’s always been invested in music. Although he started his musical journey by playing instruments and making beats as pastimes, he is now passionate about songwriting. On May 15th, 2020, J. Halstead released his debut album WE NEED US. The project is unique, original and inspiring. J has had the privilege of working with several talented artists such as Barsnetti, ethan head and Socrates. Based in Kansas City, the 19 year old artist has one core goal with his music.
