I started playing music when I was 6 years old, bashing out melodies on a cheap xylophone someone bought me as a toy. I think my parents nearly went mad with all this banging out of melodies, so they bought me a piano. All I ever wanted was a piano! Then I had some lessons and learnt how to play classical music. This was OK for a while but I really wanted to play Beatles music so I saved up for a guitar. once I got that I had a few lessons and started to play Beatles and Seekers songs. Not long after that I began trying to write my own songs. They were terrible! Thankfully as I kept up at it I got the hang of it (well, I think I got the hang of it....) Welcome to my journey :-)
