Born & Bred on the West Coast of Canada, Rooks is a producer/DJ specializing in hip-hop, reggae, funk, soul & disco inspired futuristic electronic bass music. Hailing from the west coast of Canada, with a vast range of musical tastes and armed with an extensive music library, he has honed his craft to be a tight knit package consisting of a mixture of old-school throwback remixes and new school booty-shakin' bass-filled music. Having grown up on a wide variety of musical tastes, it has set him up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence…all which became infused with his own love for both instrumental and electronic music. Today, this transcends into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of his sets. It wasn't long before he found himself playing alongside the world's premier talent and performing at various notable festivals among countless one off events and small local festivals.
