Pianist and Bösendorfer Artist Marialy Pacheco is the only female pianist in the currently row of famous Cuban jazz piano players like Roberto Fonseca, Omar Sosa or Gonzalo Rubalcaba. Winner of the Montreux Solo Piano Competition 2012, she's the first woman to win this prize in 15 years history of the competition. Whether is jazz with an orchestra, an intimate evening in a duo or playing Bach, she sparkles on every stage. Her playing is rhythmic, brisk, gripping, virtuosic and always emotional. She lives in Germany and guests at well-known national and international festivals like Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazzbaltica, Aalener Jazzfest, Enter Music Festival, St. Moritz Art Masters, Piano City Milano, Rheingau Music Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Beethoven Festival Bonn, Martinique Jazz Festival, Detroit Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scotts London, Luxembourg Philharmonic, and Cologne Philharmonic. Marialy has released 12 Albums, the most significant been: ”DUETS" (2017), an intimate and multifaceted album feat. Hamilton de Holanda, Omar Sosa, Joo Kraus, Rhani Krija, Miguel Zenon and Max Mutzke. "Danzón Cubano" (2019).
