The Rap Innovators are a rap duo out of Atlanta Ga whose music focuses on using soul, hip hop, jazz, and R&B to paint pictures and tell stories about real life. The group consisting of “Pro” The Wondrous Chid and “Mark Smooth” The Latin Soul Brother and was formed in 2019 and dropped their first EP in 2020 titled “Innovative Movement” and followed up with “Destined to Shine.” After catching waves, the movement began to grow catching the eyes of local DJs and and opening up doors for performing around the city. With influences such as Tribe Called Quest, Lauryn Hill, John Coltrane and Outkast (to name a few) their music blends soulful production with lyricism that narrates the emotions and journeys we all experience and can relate to. Their authenticity and uniqueness is what drew attention and led to performing at festivals and being played on multiple radio stations to include Shade 45. After recently signing under UMG they are now set to drop their latest EP titled “Back to the Basics.”
