Hailing from the north side of Dublin City, Steo has been known to Drum & Bass audiences since his debut track "Refusal (prod. Zero T)" in 2006. His falsetto soul tones are now unmistakable, and have become embedded in the psyche of Drum & Bass fans around the world. Less known to Drum & Bass audiences is that Steo has been a stalwart of the Irish Hip Hop scene since the early 2000s as part of The Infomatics, sharing mic (rapping and singing) along with production duties. The Infomatics performed with the likes of Nas, De La Soul, Ice-T, The Roots, Naughty by Nature, Phife Dawg and Jungle Brothers to name a few. Since entering the Drum & Bass world as a singer, Steo has worked with a host of producers including Calibre, Lenzman, Artificial Intelligence, Satl and most frequently, with Zero T. In recent years Steo has become a core member of The North Quarter, featuring on the main artists tracks regularly and providing hosting duties at NQ shows alongside Manchesters finest, Fox. Last but by no means least, Steo is a prolific producer and is currently working on his debut solo project.
