In an independent music career spanning almost twenty years, Misha has spent as much time on stage as in the studio. From a young age, Misha fell in love with the piano, immersing himself in private study and, later on, live performance, production, and composition. He received his Bachelors in Music (in Music Technology) from NYU; after graduating, Misha established the Ishlab, a full-service recording and production studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn, meanwhile collaborating with local and corporate entities to create original production and composition for a variety of different creative projects spanning all genres. He has since collaborated with some of the most seminal artists, instrumentalists, composers, engineers, and producers in recent musical history, including Joe LaPorta, Rich Harrison, Derek McKeith and others. He is heavily influenced by Jazz, R&B, D.C. Go Go, Hip Hop, and Soul. Misha was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and raised in Washington, D.C. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
