Biography

Voted Wisconsin's hip-hop artist of the year 2022. With an unpredictable flow, complex lyricism, and intricate wordplay, Dustin Warbear is a determined rapper out of central Wisconsin. Covering topics from political corruption and mental health issues, to relaxing and blazing green, he paints a vivid picture and holds little back. Growing up around music with multiple musicians on his mom's side of the family, it's not a surprise Dustin would become a musician as well. With a vast background of playing instruments and doing vocals in multiple different bands over the years, he still loves music as much as ever. First introduced to rap by coming across a DMX CD, he's had an interest in hip-hop since his single digit years. From 2Pac to Eminem to Tech N9ne, his love for lyrical rap only grew with the more he discovered. During quarantine in the early days of Covid, unable to play music with his current bands, he would turn to writing lyrics to fill the need to create. This led to the discovery of how much he truly loved rap and the lyricism that goes into some of it. Now he's determined to disrupt the music industry and bring back lyricism through "real rap." He's been hard at work writing, recording, and releasing new music every week, and looking to tour again in the near future. The industry pushes the same thing over and over again in different brands. It's all the same. They want you dull. They want you dumb. They want you to obey. Prepare for war.
