The exact scenario that has birthed countless legends, the cafeteria cypher was the world’s first glimpse of Cife…Man’s talent. Further intrigued by the art and the culture that is Hip Hop he began to do his homework on exactly what it takes to be an MC and furthermore an impactful contributor to the greatest genre of music. Inspired by the likes of Buju Banton, Beanie Man, Elephant Man, Wu-Tang, Redman, Busta Rhymes, Cam’ron, Jay Z, Nas, and The Notorious B.I.G his content is very real. In every sense of the word, Cife...Man’s lyrical depictions are centered around his life’s experiences as a father, husband, son, and hustler. Utilizing one of his greatest strengths, his voice, Cife...Man has become a regular on the Rotten Apple indie scene. As a performer he is well regarded for going above and beyond when delivering his music in a LIVE setting. His recent credits include sharing the stage with Machine Gun Kelly as well as Troy Ave at BB Kings to add to the opportunity of opening up for one of his favorite MCs of all time – Redman at Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. A solo artist since 2007, Cife along with his Beekay Entertainment team has crafted a brand of respect and homage to the culture.
