01forward is a Detroit based rapper and producer who shown promise of pushing the culture forward with his heartfelt poetry and soulful production on his debut rap album, ‘Velvet’. Already in his short career, he has dropped a culmination of beat tapes that have shown that he is one of the most versatile producers out today. Influences of J Dilla, Madlib, and Knxwledge shine through his production. Forward returned in 2023 to drop his album, ‘Crimson’ an album about overcoming generational trauma. Crimson featured the likes of Ghais Guevara & TimGetTheMoney. Now, in 2024, 01forward is set to release the final album of his Truest Trilogy, ‘lotus’. Which wraps up as the album of growth throughout the years.
