Viennese music producers Max Graf and Valentin Bauer, better known by their stage name 04/05 joined forces in 2017 to add some refreshingly different pieces to their local musical scenery. Combining classical instruments with novel electronic production techniques, their songs stretch widely across the stylistic spectrum, defying classification into one genre. With two EPs and several singles in their repertoire, they played their way through clubs and local stages alike, staying true to the live-feel that electronic music so rarely has. They exchanged their turntables for – lesser known in modern music – real instruments to present electronic music in a way that hasn’t been there before. 2018 saw the release of the windows EP, a collection of songs, many of which were brought to life by local singer palffi.
