Pablo Trujillo is a singer/songwriter, actor, and producer from Bogotá, Colombia. He started his solo career in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and published four self-produced studio albums while simultaneously obtaining his Bachelor of Music from the Escuela de Música de Buenos Aires (EMBA) in 2015. These albums are Grabaciones BsAs (2011), Instantáneas (2012), La Melodía Escasa (2013) and Para Parpadear (2014). After graduating, he returned to his hometown and began building his name in the Colombian independent music scene, collaborating with established artists like Andrea Echeverri. He played at important festivals such as Rock al Parque XXII (2017) and Estéreo Picnic 2018, following the release of the 4-track EP Monos (2018), in which he transformed his sound from Acoustic Rock/Folk to Electronic Indie/Pop, breaking through Bogotá's Indie music scene with the electro-pop single Súper Fuerte. The next year he performed at SXSW 2019 (Austin TX). Later he dove deeper into this electronic sound and shaped the album Tiempo Calavera (2020), with successful songs like Corte Superior, following three years of resting from playing live and working as an actor, voice actor, music teacher and music journalist. After said lapse he released Ya Me Cansé De La Industria (2023), an album with a much more polished electronic sound in which he explored new genres like Trap and Eurodance. He's currently living in New York City, recently graduated from the master's program at BerkleeNYC.
