Dimitri Gudemann, best known under his stage name Vouipe, is a Swiss musician who managed to make a name for himself among the electro scene. His main influences are Amon Tobin, Bonobo and Vitalic. Vouipe built his reputation thanks to a unique musical identity: inspired by organic sounds and electronic textures, he put together captivating rhythms with atmospheric melodies, which results in a dynamic as well as hypnotizing music. His live performances are a true musical journey. Thanks to his command of machines and wind instruments such as the didgeridoo or the fujara, Vouipe offers his listeners an immersive experience into a very distinctive world of sounds. He had the opportunity to perform live on numerous prestigious stages such as Paleo Festival, Montreux Jazz Festival or Electron (among artists such as Vitalic, Polo & Pan, Who made Who, French 79, Casper Bjork, Max Cooper, Arnaud Rebotini, Ben Böhmer, Acid Pauli and many others) where he gained a great deal of recognition. Creative and versatile, Vouipe is constantly on the lookout for new musical paths. Each of his albums is built around a main theme which can be heard through specific sound recordings: water dams, majestic mountains or the ocean. The field recordings serve as the source material for all his music, allowing him to push the boundaries of the genre and deliver a unique sound.
