Hawt Coco (Cordele Glass) started out bucket drumming in the streets of San Francisco, competing across the country in Drum Corps, and dancing with thousands of different people at underground raves. These experiences left him with the feeling of blending seamlessly into the chaotic web of creative vibration which drives all of his projects and productions. This flow is what sustains him as an artist. Music allows him to channel chaos into something recognizable and personal. It is a very meditative yet physical activity, and as such, rhythm and constant change take center stage in his creative process. Marching Percussion, Hip-Hop, Neurobass, Dubstep, House, Drum n Bass, Techno, Soul, Funk, and Jazz are all foundations of his style and my expression. “I make music because in the process I cease to exist.
