Gavin Schley, born in Fort Worth, Texas, I grew up surrounded by a father who listened to various artists (such as U2 and Beck) throughout my childhood, as well as a mother who turned every thing she told me into a song. I grew up feeling music set the mood for everything. Near the end of high school I had friends who were doing music, knowing I would have connections in the music world I pulled out my 5 subject notebook and wrote “Off My Mind”for a made up band. Writing more and more melodies in my notebook, I became more and more comfortable writing. Leading me to write my first single “The Way.” Recoding that single with Savemejack, a connection I met through Ben Pham, aka Boba, made me feel the drive to continue to write and create unique music. Thanks to the friends and family who believe in me I strive to make quality music that’s more than a vocal on a track. I want my music to inspire others to follow their dreams no matter how outlandish they may seem.
