Robert C. Ford, aka Wall $treet Poet, is an American poet, lyricist and performance artist. He frequently collaborates with Composers Concordance, an eclectic New York City based new music organization, and has performed live or in the studio with many world class musicians. His 2021 album, THE MUSIC BETWEEN US (Composers Concordance Records/Naxos Distribution), features poetry inspired by the pandemic, cancel culture and other events, set to music by composers Charles Coleman, Mark Kostabi and Gene Pritsker. Another album, FOOTPRINTS OF STEEL, with composers Carli Munoz, Gene Pritsker and Jay Rodriguez is expected in summer 2024. He has appeared in the short films THE CALL-NYC and ASCENDING VOLUMES, both directed by Octavio Maya Rocha. His writing has appeared in multiple editions of Maintenant, a journal of contemporary Dada writing and art, published by Three Rooms Press. Robert makes his home in the Wall Street area of NYC but is a citizen of the world having travelled to 120+ countries, including extended periods in China, Japan and Russia. He originally hails from Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
