Jo is a multi award winning composer, instrumentalist, and singer-songwriter based in Birmingham. She specialises in scoring films, games, and plays in many genres, and particularly enjoys finding unusual ways to manipulate and create sound. The feature films that Jo has scored are available to stream via Amazon Prime and her music has appeared across the BBC on TV and radio. Her music has been mixed in major UK facilities such as Warner Brother's De Lane Lea and Twickenham Film Studios. She works with major UK music library companies such as West One and BAM. She served on the BAFTA Craft awards jury in 2023. She has won or been a finalist in various songwriting and scoring competitions, and in February 2023 she won Best Original Score at White Deer Film Festival for silent short film Ghosted followed by winning Best Original Score- Feature Film at VBSIFF festival for horror film The Haunting Of The Lady Jane in April. Her debut album will be available November 2023 on Pegdoll Records.
