Originally born in Chicago, IL the artist recalled growing up around music; anything from church choirs to his father playing the piano at home. 
 He didn’t have a traditional childhood though. Jovanis’s family would often move from place to place every few years. Instead of letting this be a drawback, he took it as an opportunity to meet new people and make more connections. 
 It wasn’t until the age of eight that the artist started experimenting with music on and off. He first became interested in the piano and would often times make beats on whatever software he could get his hands on. With practice, this led Jovanis to be an all-around powerhouse. Now his abilities range from song writing, self producing, and engineering.
