I can safely say that music to me it’s a calling really because from as young as 13 years of age I was already performing in front of a hall full of cheering school mates , mind you I was just a little boy trying to prove a point to my peers and I never really imagined that I’d go as far as I’ve come. My name is Brighton Moyo aka Bravo Jay , born and raised in a village in Matebeleland in Zimbabwe. Around 2012 in September I moved to South Africa for the first time , believe you me , I knew nothing about this country but for the past 10 years I’ve learnt a lot and have become a part of this diverse society. Through my music I believe I’ve managed or at least tried to share my life experiences which I know that are similar to those of my peers in South Africa. Around 2014 my friends and I began recording music in a bedroom studio. It was just us enjoying ourselves because we had no knowledge or any idea about the business side of music In 2019 we decided to register our recording company by the name D PRO STUDIOZ. Since then I have managed to record a number of EP’s and two studio albums. From my work so far I have managed to get recognition from local artists. Whom I’ve worked with on my music and theirs as well. These artists are Modongo , Thavocalist, Odyccy , to name a few. The road has been both bumpy and a learning experience for me and I’m looking forward to empower and inspire and get the same energy back as well . Thank you
