Based in Ireland, ONEMAC (real name: Michael MacMahon) started in music as a teenager under his DJ name Mick Taylor. He won Ireland's "Young DJ of the Year" title at the age of 19, where one of the judges was the great Thin Lizzy frontman, Phil Lynott. Five years later, despite limited exposure, he was voted number three in a national poll, just behind legendary DJ Larry Gogan. But MacMahon’s true love was creating music. After a long break, he returned in 2017 to write “Destiny”, a tune with singer-songwriter Riannti that garnered thousands of online plays. In 2020 he produced “Angel in My Heart”, a song he co-wrote with Kim Diaz-Smith during the Covid-19 pandemic. That was followed by another writing collaboration with James O’Connor on “Know My Name” featuring O’Connor and Diaz-Smith on vocals. To wrap up the year, during the October Covid-19 lockdown, he co-wrote "Memories of Christmas Day" with James O'Connor and they were joined once again by Kim Diaz-Smith sharing the vocals.
