the.CHAIN (Antonio Brutus Wankowicz) is a young Producer/ DJ/ Artist/ Singer/ Songwriter from Whitley Bay in the North East of England. His musical productions and DJ sets draw on a wide range of genres and influences, especially considering his age. Some of this is due to the.CHAIN coming from a musical home but also largely from an inner feeling or drive to make music with meaning, from the heart and with emotion. 2023 seen the release of the.CHAIN’s debut single, ‘He’s Peaking Sideways’ on the respected ‘Music To Die For’ record label. ‘He’s Peaking Sideways’ is a dreamy, hazy and thoughtful production that was the ouput of two years at music college whilst going through and coming out of lockdown. The Music To Die For label cleverly paired up new artists on the label to do remixes for each other with the output being John Digweed picking up on the Gus F version of ‘He’s Peaking Sideways and playing it on his radio show the day it was released. This has led to a flurry of attention from other artists, DJs and followers. With new songs being produced, releases planned and DJ dates/ events in the diary 2024 looks bright.
