Diego Agustin Gonzalez Lara, artísticamente conocido como Amir "El Predilecto" nació un 12 de Abril de 1993 en la ciudad de Mendoza, Argentina, lugar donde reside actualmente. ​ Desde los 3 años de vida, ya se podía apreciar la su pasión por la música, partcipando de varios concursos desde el jardín de infantes hasta el secundario. A los 13 años de edad, ya había atravesado por distintos generos musicales, desde el folcklore argentino, hasta el rock. Pero fue ahí cuando descubrió el Reggaeton y todo el movimiento urbano/ Pop Latino. Se lanza como artista a los 21 años, apoyado por su amigo y talentoso productor NewYorkeeno (Facundo Alaniz), productor de grandes artistas nacionales (El Villano) e internacionales (Arcángel).
