She was born in Diyarbakir. In 1993, she took folk music lessons at Arif Sağ Music House. In 1995, She started working at the Mesopotamia Cultural Center (MKM) in Istanbul. She studied solfeggio and singing at Pera Fine Arts Academy. She worked in a Zazaki music group called Vengê Sodiri with his five friends. They released an album called Wayir. Simultaneously, she took part in the group Koma Asmin, where all the musicians and solo vocalists were women. In addition to individual works, she worked on projects called Şahiya Stranan and Koma Aheng. Finally, with a group of MKM artists, they realized the project Diwan a Dubeyti, in which they composed the rubais of Kurdish poet Baba Tahir Üryan, and turned it into an album.
